I doubt anyone will remember me but I was an R owner between 2012 and 2014 I sold it to scratch a Japanese itch which has now gone. I wouldnt change the discs first off tbh. Pads and flexi lines should improve your heat issues massively as the pads will be designed to work in a higher heat range and the fexis will take out the loss of peddle feel as they wont expand as thefluid gets hot. You can basicly spend 300 quid to do this...

picked the car up today so now a proud owner of a lovely black roco R

i know its not a scirocco but i used ferodo ds2500 on my rx7 road legal track day car which was running 356mm ksport 8pot setup and would highly recomend them. the car was running 500bhp and did 4 or 5 track days a year.and about 2000miles on the road never had an issue on road or track.
