Frozen windows?
Does anyone else have touble getting into their Scirocco on a frosty/icy morning. When I get these conditions the windows don't drop when I press the remote. It's possible to open the door if you're very careful but can't then shut the door because trying to might break the glass if I try to force i...

Re: Ordered 1.4tsi rising blue
Collected yesterday at 5PM. When I arrived the car was right in the middle of the forecourt, with the sun shining on it, looking amazing. In my own unbiased opinion (yeah right) it was the best looking car there. Most people when they see it think it must be a 2 litre and can't believe it when i tel...

Re: Air conditioning question? 2Zone or Climatic?
No doubt about it, it's worth spending the money. While waiting for my Scirocco to arrive i'm still driving my Polo GTI. This has only semi automatic but the car before that had fully automatic. At first I really missed the automatic, over time I got used to it but wished I still had the climate con...

Re: Lead time
Dealer rang today, car should be ready to pick up early next week. Ordered 28th March so that makes 13 weeks. When I ordered they told me I might have to wait until August if I was unlucky so i'm delighted. I'll probably collect the Roc on Monday 30th so only 12 days to go! :D  :happyban...

Re: What's your Build Date? (Estimated or Confirmed)
Went to the dealer today to get my car valued and to organise the premium sill protectors and paint protection. Only booked appointment a week ago so imagine my surprise/disgust when they tell me he's on a course today. VW service continues to amaze, only not in a good way. At least they were able t...

Re: Poor Colour Selection
When I was first looking to buy a Roc I would have been happy with any of 5 colours. The final decision was between white and rising blue. The only colour missing really is a bright red but I wouldn't want it myself. Anyone for orange, yellow or purple?

Light at the end of the tunnel
At last the end is in sight. Ordered car on 26th March and still hadn't got a build date. Phoned dealer today and finally got some info. Body shell built last week, final assembly scheduled for next week. All Sciroccos built in Portugal, transported to Emden in Germany then shipped to Sheerness. Max...

Re: What's your Build Date? (Estimated or Confirmed)
I did have build week 22 up until today. Dealer now tells me that my 12 week lead in has now become 16 weeks. He will confim the build weeek soon. Mine was ordered on the 26th march and I still havn't heard from the dealer about build weeks so will probably ring him myself this week. Personal...

Re: Ordered 1.4tsi rising blue
I ordered mine 26 March and still have no build date either. The dealer said something about VW having to collect all orders before deciding the build weeks for each order. Dealer said he still expects delivery to be July which is what he said at time of ordering. Still at least 9 more weeks for me ...

Re: Finally it's here! :-)
Lots of people seem to have ordered parking sensors. I havn't and I was wondering how well you are managing without. First of all can I just say hi to everyone! I've just had a phone call to say my car is here and ready to be collected tonight after a 12 week wait  It's a 1.4 tsi candy white w...

Re: What's your Build Date? (Estimated or Confirmed)
Ordered my candy white i.4 tsi 26 March. Does anyone think i'll get it early in July? Havn't heard from the dealer yet, i.m expecting a call in the next week or two but the wait is killing me. It seems the average wait is 4 weeks after the build date for delivery. I can't help thinking I should have...
