Light at the end of the tunnel
At last the end is in sight. Ordered car on 26th March and still hadn't got a build date. Phoned dealer today and finally got some info. Body shell built last week, final assembly scheduled for next week. All Sciroccos built in Portugal, transported to Emden in Germany then shipped to Sheerness. Maximum time left 6 weeks. I really want it by 12th July as i'm having a party and want to show it off to family and friends. The end is in sight

Good to hear things are nearing completion for you! Im in a similar boat...
I just got an email from my leasing company this morning suggesting 2.5 to 3.5 weeks till delivery, probably the latter knowing my luck. Its really starting to drag at the moment as I can't wait!
Been driving my dads 4x4 about (as my car has run out of MOT/insurance) and while its an awesome vehicle it drinks diesel for a past time and I can't really race it around the roads/enjoy driving it... off to download festival this weekend and thats gonna cost me a fortune in fuel!
Hooray for getting closer and closer to delivery day for us both!
