Finally it's here! :-)

First of all can I just say hi to everyone!

I've just had a phone call to say my car is here and ready to be collected tonight after a 12 week wait

It's a 1.4 tsi candy white with 18's, cruise control and front fogs. Before anyone says I should have got the 2.0 tsi, I need something relatively economical for the miles I do. Was between the diesel and the 1.4 but i think the petrol suits the car at bit better. Besides i've had a diesel for the last 2 years so it's time for a change. Also as an engineer I love the technology in the 1.4 engine.

All I need now is for Milltek to make an exhaust for it.......

Think i'll wait for someone else to volunteer though as it's a fair trip down to Milltek from where I am.

Cheers

Lots of people seem to have ordered parking sensors. I havn't and I was wondering how well you are managing without.

It's relatively easy to reverse park. The rear visibity isn't great but it hasn't caused me any problems reversing into my garage. Parking sensors are for women!

I must admit that coming from an Astra sport hatch, the rear visability in the Scirocco is pretty good... because the back is pretty flat you can see the end of the car pretty easily. The parking sensors are nice but not essential
