Re: Reversing sensor anomaly

It doesn't just see solid objects

If you reverse up to a ditch you get a red bar accross the back of the car to warn you about it

Thought that was pretty cool :)

Re: Going to France

Don't worry about the main beam deflectors, I never do I live in France but whenever I come home to Blighty nobody ever flashes me so I guess I'm not bothering anyone You probably have GB on your reg plate so no need for the sticker if this is the case Folks are right about the warning triangle in t...

Re: MY2011 changes

From my experience, Continental tyres wear out faster than you can say where the f.... did my tyres go !!! :eyepop:

Added to this, I guess these James Bond jobbies won't be cheap,

I wonder how many people will fit a second set :shake:

Re: tyre swopping

Just one thing to add Watch out in the rain if they are really low on tread If you have better tyres on the front then you'll have more chance of losing the back end, which is harder to recover than the front Tyre manufacturers always say you should put the best tyres on the back for this reason, bu...

Re: Annoying salesman, and, (almost) new car.....

I saw the black inserts available in an accessories catalogue a while back (it was pre wk 45 model at the time) so they should be easy to get

They were available in Aluminium, Carbon & Black from what I remember

Hope this helps

Re: Women Drivers!

Sorry guys but you're all completely wrong The French hold a total & world wide monopoly on cretinism behind the wheel, it's a matter of national pride  There may be worse drivers in other countries or even more dangerous drivers, but I'm afraid you just can't beat the French when it comes ...

Re: Unwanted optional extra

If it's any consolation, at least it's the bumper, not a rear quarter or something that could need a blow in or blending to "lose" the repair They will be able to paint the whole bumper so it will at least be invisible once repaired Still a downer at collection though which should be a mom...

Also, a piece of trim broke off the passenger seat rail when I slid it forwards to let someone into the back seat ! And the center armrest mechanism has broken !!! it won't...
