MPG works on averages of constant motion not breaking or slowing just constant speed.
so cruising at 70 mph on motor way you are less full then if your stuck behind a caravan on a B road in wales going up the black hills.

Well if you do the math
( distance traveled over time taken then multiply by the speed traveled) (then add in variable head wind) (slowing speeding up)

the math dose not add up. Tank capacity 55 liter 12.1 gallon = 28 miles for ever one gallon used = 338.8 miles

so i went back to the dealer and said. And a quick rest sorted everything no i am getting the proper read outs
a motor way speeds at 70 mph range computer says 328 miles at midnight with empty motor way no other drivers to f*ck up your mpg by breaking in front of you.
and causing you to be of and on the Accelerator.

The proper read out of 338 miles for full tank.

well it would have been alot more helpful if you had said all that in your first post W.S but at least we understand what you were getting at now.

i think its pointless even looking at the mpg on the R.

it ain't good and thats at cruising speed.

ping it to 7k rpm and it gets a whole lot worse but it is offset by a great big grin on your face.
