Anyone else getting a static shock after they get out of their car and touch the doors to close them?
I've put up with this for ages, but it's started annoying me now, can be quite uncomfortable at times. Is it just normal, I've not seen anyone else complain on here and I know how fussy you all are ??

I find it depends on what footwear I have on trainers and work shoes no shock. When wearing shoes with a thick sole eg timberland boots then I get a shock
The static shock is the gap jump as the built up static goes to earth - if there is no gap then there is no shock. Make sure you're already touching a metal part of the door frame when you put your foot out onto the floor when exiting the car.
