2.0 Diesel 170 2010 Tensioner
How big of a job is it to change the timing tensioner on my Rocco and a ball park idea of the price? No the chain just the tensioner

2.0 Diesel is belt driven, not chain driven.
You would change the belt, tensioner and water pump at the same time. Cost is roughly £300 to £400 at an indy.
I think you are getting mixed up with the EA888 petrol engine where there was an issue with the timing chain tensioner failing on early variants.
