Thanks all for the replies!
2.0 petrol or diesel?
Petrol as I only drive a very short commute
Have you looked to see whether or not there are any private sales around which meets your requirements?
Yes, there are but I will be buying with finance so will need to go through a garage without ridiculous loan offers
If I were you, I'd save up for a bit, until you can afford to spend £30,000 or thereabouts on a new one - then you can customise it exactly to your liking, and not have to worry about its history. If it's the dream car you want, it'll be worth the wait...
I'm afraid its not possible, im a single "young man" and saving to buy a house - £30,000 is a massive deposit in my eyes, there's always the lottery right?
I picked up a 61 plate 2.0tsi gt with 45000 on it for £11500 after haggling with my part exchange price, sticker price was 12500 on the forecourt
Thats awsome dude! Kinda the price im looking for to be honest, I wont be part ex'ing my vehicle as will be selling it privately
Welcome, Chris. I assume the title is meant to be 'To wait or not to wait?'...
You're correct! Sitting my neice and typing on a forum usually isnt the best way to go and the proof is in the pudding lol, but needs must!
So basically, you'd say wait until the right one comes along?
I've found one and it looks a dream but trying to get them down on price:
