Hi all as a newcomer to the site apologies in advance if I get the tech stuff wrong, recently purchased my first Scirocco, 2.0 TDI Salsa Red, DSG. I have upgraded the radio to a RNS510 unit however I don't get the sat nav on the MFD should I be able to see sat nav direction on the MFD?
Any assistance appreciated, based in Bournemouth.
Great site thanks.
PS I had the F1 ceramic coating applied and its a must for the perfect finish.

You need to get your car plugged in to VCDS to configure the Navigation.
Link to the coding settings are - http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.ph ... on_System_(RNS510" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)_Retrofitting
I did this on mine and it still did not appear so all I did was pull the fuse for stereo and now it appears on my dash. The fuse I pulled was fuse 8 in the under bonnet fuse box, but check this link to be sure - http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/ ... =25&t=7403" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Your new RNS needs to be coded using VAGCOM/VCDS in order to activate the MFD sat nav directions

As above you need to get it coded in. The canbus gateway needs to be told the car has nav fitted. Did mine and it only takes 5 minutes. Where are you located?
