hi lads i have my scirocco since april 5 luv the car to bits but i hav never passed or seen another scirocco on the road when im driving mine!!!as soon as im n another car they always appear was just wondering how many sciroccos would u pass on a daily or weekly basis.or is their any 1 like me out their!!
I see quite a few, usually Candy. And theres a chap up the road with a Candy R I see about town.
I know there are two guys on here with Vipers who live in the same area and I have never seen them once though and its not a colour you could easily miss!
There looks like four regulars in my area, all difference colours. White, Salsa, Black and a Rising Blue. Of course they all have to bow down to the Indium Grey.
There is another White Rocco who works at the retail park i work at (tho its a diesel ) and then i occasionally see a silver one on way to work, tho that again a diesel. Both strangely, driven by women...

The most I've ever seen in one journey was when I was on my way to collect my Scirocco - a total of 12, 8 of which were white - I was in a loan car from the Contract Hire company at the time, a Ford Ka. Once in the Scirocco and on my way home I didn't see another one.
I once ran 'in convoy' with another Viper for about 30 miles.
One thing - I always wave to other Scirocco drivers as I have done with other low volume cars, e.g. Morris Minor, Mini (at least back in 2001 when they were unusual to see), Alfa GTV etc - the Scirocco is the only one of those that no one waves back.

There are 700 Sciroccos in Ireland, I counted them! I'd say I've met around 10 in the 4,000 kms I've done in mine.
I've given and got a few waves from other Roccer's though, I'll keep an eye out for night blue ones
I rarely seen them, but when I do I'll see a load of them all in one short period. Only one I know of in my local area is a silver one parked in a garden centre which I often pass.
I got flashed by a white 61 plate Roc yesterday (Saturday). Beautifully clean bodywork and by the way the driver was grinning he probably picked it up the day before.
