I see quite a few, usually Candy. And theres a chap up the road with a Candy R I see about town.

I know there are two guys on here with Vipers who live in the same area and I have never seen them once though and its not a colour you could easily miss!

I was in a 3 black Roc convoy the other day by chance, reminded me of happy evenings in the (classic) mini club in my teenage years!

There looks like four regulars in my area, all difference colours. White, Salsa, Black and a Rising Blue. Of course they all have to bow down to the Indium Grey.

There is another White Rocco who works at the retail park i work at (tho its a diesel :p) and then i occasionally see a silver one on way to work, tho that again a diesel. Both strangely, driven by women...

The most I've ever seen in one journey was when I was on my way to collect my Scirocco - a total of 12, 8 of which were white - I was in a loan car from the Contract Hire company at the time, a Ford Ka. Once in the Scirocco and on my way home I didn't see another one.

I once ran 'in convoy' with another Viper for about 30 miles.

One thing - I always wave to other Scirocco drivers as I have done with other low volume cars, e.g. Morris Minor, Mini (at least back in 2001 when they were unusual to see), Alfa GTV etc - the Scirocco is the only one of those that no one waves back.

There are 700 Sciroccos in Ireland, I counted them! I'd say I've met around 10 in the 4,000 kms I've done in mine.

I've given and got a few waves from other Roccer's though, I'll keep an eye out for night blue ones

I rarely seen them, but when I do I'll see a load of them all in one short period. Only one I know of in my local area is a silver one parked in a garden centre which I often pass.

I got flashed by a white 61 plate Roc yesterday (Saturday). Beautifully clean bodywork and by the way the driver was grinning he probably picked it up the day before.

None of those 700 (other than mine) seem to be located in the West! Am repeatedly asked whether I am driving some 'weird type of Golf'...!
