Hi Guys,
Just a quick one. Has anyone ever had their ACC switch starting to flash. But when you turn the engine off and back on again all has been fine. Its only happened twice but I'm just wondering if anyone knows what it might be?
Thanks in advance for your help.
acc possible issue
Re: acc possible issue
Yes it's happened to me a couple of times, no faults showed up on VCDS.
Hasn't happened for a while now so I've not bothered to check with the stealer.
If it continues take it back for a checkup.

Re: acc possible issue
Two things commonly possible......
@ dougroc,
Check your shock absorbers for leaking oil, particularly around the electrical connection near the bottom end of each unit.
@mike-p
Above applies but also yours is old enough to have problematic software in the ACC controller 14. Affects Sciroccos prior to Wk45/10. Somtimes there can be faults if the ACC light flashes, sometimes not. Associated with low battery charge (volts). Charge the battery.
Refer: 2024725/1 Old software either 0069 or 0070. Revised software at 0071 (Look in the "Component Field" of VCDS Open Controller screen.)

Re: acc possible issue
I had this happen twice on my Roc, contacted the dealers who performed a 'firmware update' to resolve (I say that in quotes, as I have no idea what firmware/software they updated, however it has cured the flashing ACC light)
As you said, turning off and on again clears the issue but its nice to have it fixed properly.
Thanks
M.
