Completely disagree. Take cost out of the equation and leather will always be better than cloth on a car. Who can honestly say that if they had the choice and expense wasn't a factor that they would rather have cloth than leather????wigit wrote:stock cloth still the way to go on the R
Its most likely a custom retrim George, although it looks very familiar to me from some previous pics somewhere but I can't put my finger on where at the moment.Georgeous wrote:Pardon my ignorance, but how did the owner of that Scirocco get Red Leather?
Is this something to do with the VW Individual service?
A few years ago, I had a Silver, "yes Silver", Audi TT with Denim Blue leather interior and matching trim, which looked really good. I think a nice Deep Red Leather interior would've looked good in my Silver R, and provided a nice contrast to the sea of anthracite.
Although I'm just happy it's not Jet Black which is way to gloomy!!!
Kind Regards

totally agree with you on the R cloth, having been in GTI2RocR's i wouldn't tick the leather boxAndy-GTI wrote:MeEvil Derboy wrote: Who can honestly say that if they had the choice and expense wasn't a factor that they would rather have cloth than leather????![]()
The R interior looks miles better with the cloth than the leather. The Leather makes the interior look just like any other scirocco, the cloth is Unique to the R and as such is the best interior for the model.
