Mainly Vectra's around Central Lancs although there are at least two silver 5 series BMWs but I'm led to believe they aren't traffic...
Ordered 24th Jan. Build Week 9. Arrived at dealers 29th March. Collection 31st March.

Plenty of dark blue Volvo V70s doing the rounds on the M62

I got pulled for jumping a red before chrimbo by a silver X5 :(

One or two scoobies about too but they're mainly out in the sticks for catching up with the bikers.

I'm always a bit wary about the Skoda Octavia VRS as I've seen no end of these as unmarked police cars.

The marked cars always have a good look at my Roc though!

In middle of Kent, its generally BMW's that are unmarked. Things like 5 series and X3's. Very well unmarked. Seen random makes though, heard those ones are cars they've taken.

Saw the black ST on Sunday morning at the northbound A446/M6 Toll/M42 junction. He'd just nicked a silver 3 Series Coupe! At 05:45 in the morning!!

Miserable.

Theres loads around Maidstone. Quite a selection of BMW's and a few Audi's which all come from the traffic police place near Aylesford. Almost all I've seen are black with tinted windows. X3, X5, 3 and 5 series, A6...

Budget cuts may not be all so bad...

Have seen the BMW 5 Series on the M6 before. A friend who left my work to join the force and met up with him a year later and he said they vary rarely have cars over 5 years, so anything that is a 56 plate and before should be safe. Also said that around 80 on normal motorways and 90 on the toll have been known to be let go.

Both dependant on how you're driving of course - not doing cutting in, undertaking, weaving in and out, not indicating etc. He put it "If you're doing 90 on the toll and it's not hectic at all and you safely move back instead of lane hogging, you're more safe than an idiot doing 70 and trying to cut and dive through the traffic". - He's not driving, but is around on the traffic cops doing his tests.

By the way, in the mids (not sure they do the Motorway or not), but around Wednesbury their Police Station has a Mitsubishi Evolution X and 2 Impreza WRX's. I got pulled in My ST once for accelerating too hard (although I never went over 30!) and going round a speed bump up a dip in the gutter (doh!).
