How long till you roc?
I waited 6 months for mine. How long are folk generally waiting from order to delivery?
Chap who delivered mine said it was now on average a 7 month wait (notts dealership)........are waiting times going up?
However long your wait rest assured it is worth every agonising minute.

Re: How long till you roc?
7 months wait, that is rediculous!
Dont quote me on this, but im sure theres cars worth far more that have short lead times lol
If i get quoted 7 months when i come to ordering mine at the end of the month, it will deffinately put me off having one, so i HOPE that doesnt happen!

I was gobsmacked when he told me. Don't vw build enough?
I agree it is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for a mass produced car.

Re: How long till you roc?
i have completed my order around august time, and i was told it is being built now, with ETA around late Jan.
My concern is that VAT thing may run out in Feb ( i recall this subject was discussed elsewhere in the forum).
after so long i am not too bothered now because i have other pressing matters to spend my money..( my glasses got smashed and the house insurer refuses to pay up the 378GBP - 2 lenses plus a cheap spare!)

Re: How long till you roc?
Placed my order 3rd October. Should be able to pick it up mid Feb depending on boats as it is getting built this week but suspect I will wait for March 1st regardless of whether I can get away with the VAT reduction or not so in total about 4 1/2 months.
I suspect it depends on your dealer as each dealership gets a fixed number of orders - if one dealer says 7 months, chances are he has used up a couple of months orders in advance or is wanting to set expectations so that you are chuffed when it does arrive earlier than predicted.
Personally Im quite happy with the wait - it keeps residuals on 2nd hand cars much higher.

Re: How long till you roc?
Placed my order on the 11th November and been given the 30th April as delivery date, so a bit less than 7 months but still an agonizing wait.
At least all the snow slush and grit will have gone by then.

Re: How long till you roc?
Same here. Placed mine on 3rd October and should be picking it up on 1st March, although my dealer reckons it should be with them mid Feburary.
I can rely on my car, it's my Roc!!!

Re: How long till you roc?
Ordered 28th August. Delivered 22nd December.
I understand each dealer only gets a certain number of build slots per month. Delivery will therefore take longer if your dealer has already sold their allocation for the next few months.
