Re: What Model?
That codification used to be the case on the 1.9TDI, with so many power differences (red i = 110ps, red di = 115ps then 130ps, red tdi = 150ps), but there are only 2 outputs in the 2.0TDI available to the Scirocco.
My 140CR unit has an all chrome "2.0 TDI" badge, so I would expect the "i" on the TDI of the 170 to be red.
This was the codification on the MK5 Golf also, as it had only 140 and 170PS variants for the 2.0TDI engine.
All I have said above only applies to the UK market - I think that Germany has an even lower output 2.0TDI available (122PS?) in the Scirocco, so they'd potentially have 3 variants on the 2.0 TDI badging.

Re: What Model?
This could get confusing
They just released a 2.0 TDI 120 Common rail in the Audi A4 !
(EDIT - Hi maisbitt, just noticed your post above , I guess it's the same engine)

Re: What Model?
No, it's not the same engine. The engine you saw is a 1,4 petrol with 122bhp available all over Europe(Germany included, UK excluded)

Re: What Model?
Just checked the web sites
Didn't see the TDI 120 (88KW) on the German VW site as yet but it is available in the A4 on the French Audi site

Re: What Model?
unfortunately we can't amend polls without wiping all the current votes & starting them from scratch anakin, this was (most likely) started when no one had even heard of the R concept

Re: What Model?
Can't vote for my roc... 1.4 TSI 160 DSG (GT)
Re: What Model?
that would be because the 1.4Tsi is not available in the GT trim Combusted, i'm guessing from your options you're based in Ireland(?) where there are different packs set up to here in GB so its like speccing a 1.4 up to GT trim level so its a GT in everything but..
( btw)

Re: What Model?
There's a limitation with polls in that if you add a new option it (rightly) removes all the votes so as not to bias the poll by disallowing people who have already voted to vote on the new option.
When we started this poll originally we didn't know what other models would be coming so, I've just made a new topic with easier options to choose from and all the models currently available.
So, if you'd like to re-vote, please do so in
http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/ ... f=2&t=3504" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
