Well if it makes you feel safer... To be completely honest, where I live we have seriously heavy fog maybe 1-2 days a year, so not really a big problem and I very rarely use my fog lights. On the scirocco it seems they are quite bad, on my dad's infiniti, they really make a diference

I had to get my fog light changed from the right to the left so that I could register it out here.

I put it into the local VW dealer (Türks) to get it done on the VAG.COM.

When I went to collect the car they said it could not be done on the computer for some reason or other and had ran a trailing wire from one side to the other instead.

But there has been others on here who have the car set up with both fog lights activated so it can be done.

Just not by the Germans apparently.

Hi Pat, dont know if im getting your drift here, my roc has two reversing lights but only one fog light, upon inspection i noticed that the second fog lamp is in place but foes not come on so i think it would be a simple case of asking your dealer to switch it on for you, be nice and it'll be free too...

Have you looked at this??

"I've tried the the fog lights as driving lights option and they both work. The second rear fog doesnt seem to work, but that might be because the bulb type is incorrect, will have a look at some point."

I only have one rear fog light on my car

Are you sure there is a second one on your car?

Its there just not activated, swith your fogs on and take a look at the nearside cluster, you can see where the bulb is..

OK.

After 6 months of owning the car there still seems to be a lot to learn.
