Bank holiday Monday clean

Post by Philuk »

Hopefully I will get to clean our scirocco for the first time since we bought it. Will be getting the full treatment.

Snowfoam clay clean polish wax, mostly using autofinesse products.

What's does everyone else use?

Bilthammer clay bar and shampoo, autofinesse tripple for polish then 2 coats of Zymol Glasur wax.
A few other options on polish in the shed and a few waxes of varying degreees of cost

I clay bar'd dads hilux once and thought never again, but seems to work really nice on the viper green

But if no snow foam, just 2,3 bucket wash clay bar then polish

Whys that Jay? We are going to do a 1 step on toms car at the weekend. I've ran out of korrosol and my tar remover from when I did my car. How necessary is this? Will just a clay bar be good *enough* before the DA?

The problem with just using a clay bar is that you want to try and take as much off as possible in a contactless manner.
If you can order some Iron X and Tar Remover today you should be able to get next day delivery.
Not the end of the world if you can't, but it is defo recommended.
