It was BAP I needed ... All the controls are working now. Just going to do a full scan again and see if any errors pop up.

Also have a compass showing on the dashboard? Where does it get this info from?

The RNS315 reboots from power off, so once it's been shut down completely following coding changes (turn off, lock the car and leave for all systems to shut down) then next time it starts up it's done a reset. Unlike the RNS510 which needs a manual reset.

Ok, all fixed except push to talk ... I assume I need to enable that somewhere ....

Explains why it started working all of a sudden! It just needed a full reboot... Scanned again and no errors.

Just push to talk to be enabled. Need to read up on that, but I've managed to flatten battery from all the VCDS work :D

Telephone 77 - cannot be reached.

It works fine though and if I turn off in gateway I loose the phone?

You look like you've enabled telephone in the CAN gateway controller. This is for the Bluetooth kit fitted to the car, not the Bluetooth in the RNS315. You need to disable the telephone controller in the CAN gateway, and enable it in the RNS315 controller long coding helper, byte 3, bit 5.

I'm presuming here that you actually bought an RNS315 with Bluetooth built in, didn't you?

Yes this RNS315 does have Bluetooth ... I've just made a call on it! :)

Which measuring block is the RNS315 controller? If not to use CAN gateway?

Also any ideas on push to talk? How to get it to work?

Did that, but now have no control on the steering wheel?

Get phone control on head unit only if I turn off gateway phone and fault disappears ... But enable via gateway and I get full steering controls and head unit but the fault code ... :/

Push to Talk setup: ... Nothing to tick under steering wheel module... ? I'm assuming that means car doesn't support it?
