Replacing Audio System

Post by ZinaZonic »

I have the standard display in my Scirocco.
It doesn't have bluetooth or satnav, I just wanted to know being a complete mong, is there a chance I can replace the audio system so it has bluetooth and satnav built in already?

Help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks Zina

If you want it all built in rather than running the cables around for the bluetooth etc then you need the RNS315.

Straight forward swap out, might need someone to code in the satnav to your speedo display tho but plenty of people on here would be willing to help you there

The RNS510 is the superior Radio but the RNS310 is still a great bit of kit. The best part of the RNS315 is the bluetooth is built into the until, as with the RNS it's or RCD you require module box aswell, which goes under your seats (or in my case behind the Climate Control) and run the cables around.

So I could have the RNS510 installed into my car quite easily. I prefer the bigger display as I have it already.
Looked at prices for the RNS510 and its decently priced, all I need now is someone to install it! :) Thanks for your help everyone :D

RNS510 is also very populair by thieves. You can't remove a panel like some aftermarket devices. You can install a navilock or just take take a good insurance.

Wow I'm a retard, so the RNS310 has the bluetooth built in, whereas the 510 doesn's have it built in?
