do i need to reset the acc after disconnecting it

Post by RavG99 »

Hi guys

I spoke to a mate of mine about fitting h&r springs to the R. he asked if i would need to reset the acc through a computer if he disconnects it to for the springs.

So my question is. Once he disconnects acc cable to fit the springs will i need to reset it through a computer or does it need to be reset at all...

No you don't need to reset the ACC. I changed the springs on my R for H&R's and more recently the KW DDC coilovers. Just had a full geometry check afterwards, no other issues!

As long as the ignition isn't switched on while it's disconnected.then it won't know and won't log any faults so no is the answer
