Thanks mate for your view and reply. About the engine cover ; i've asked advice indeed about that, but conclusion is that it don't need heat-resistant paint for this part. It will come warm off course, but not that much it will damage the paint. But i will check for that to be sure In the meantime i'm still waiting for the outside CF part but it will be finished soon..Rocco85 wrote:stunning Rocco, hats off. very nice example of a black one and loving all the touches. all come together to make it your own.
when respraying the engine cover do you need to use heat resistant paint? or would say standard spray ontop of primer and then lanqured a couple of time do the trick?
Cheers

Yesterday we've put a black banner in the inside of the front window
Some license-mod (normally black is blue over here (no it's not allowed, but i have a additional set)
New type sign in the door
All new painted interior-parts installed (almost all)
And replaced all inner-lights by LED
Tomorrow i'm gonna built out the doorpanels, because of replacment part for doorhandles

Looking really good. Loving the colour coding you've got going on. Bespoke and reserved enough to not be brash. Interior LEDs are my next job for sure.

I love the inside of your scirocco dude!
I want to do the same thing when I saw GTi's inside and I thought to buy several things but it's very expensive! What did you've done? You've put new leather seats or they've leather covers? or asked for it when you bought the car and pay it like extra?
Great car !
See u

Re: Black Rocco Projektz in Progrezz..
Thanks ! The key is related to a "Bearlock" anti-theft safety system. It's a mechanical solution with a lock in the DSG (or handgear no diiference), so when you release the key, you cannot drive the car. (http://www.bearlock.nl" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) i don't know if it also available in your country.enzo15637 wrote:Awesome looking car, what the key chain hanging off the centre console passenger side?
Thanks ! The leather interior was before order discussed so it's build directly after delivery by Leather build-in company here locally.javirocco wrote:I love the inside of your scirocco dude!

Re: Black Rocco Projektz in Progrezz..
Some relaxed sunday with a friend of mine also with Rocco, washed and cleaned up (yes we are not yet in summer-mode)
Put Lamin-X on the Fog-lights with a little smooth smoke tint
Modified the DRL/Sign units, to remove the orange reflector. We put back of course the plastic cutout and kit it.
Next week the grille-parts etc are ready so then i will take more pics !
