Sorree to hear. So what have you gone for then? C. Gone for something completely different and bought a Range Rover Evoque Dynamic, struggled a bit getting the mountain bikes in and out of the Vw due to the small size of the hatch. penty of room once in but a bit arkward to get through the hole. Re: Would you believe it?

if it is accessable from inside the bonnet a good dent man may be able push it out, these guys are really clever. If they can maybe you can then just touch up the chip if it is as small as you say. No way would i let a smart repair anywhere near my car, they are usually crap, may look ok when first ...

Re: Anyone gone from a 2.0 TSi to a diesel

Went from Audi S3 TFSI to a 170 bhp diesel, with a very short BMW 123d ownership inbetween and have had no problem adjusting to the diesel. Love the DSG and the way you can drive lazy or drive it like a manual, only thing that annoys me is the time delay from planting your right foot and anything ac...

Re: Mega MPG

I am a true petrol head, my last petrol car was a 07 Audi S3 which was fantastic but the MPG was killing me so i bought the Roc diesel. No real problem making the change and I really like the drive, and £70 for 450-500 miles as apposed to £70 for 260 miles makes me a little happier.

Re: Damage to Rear Nearside Wheel Arch

Would get it done properly, don't entertain any of the smart repair guys as they are usually useless and anyone who sprays your car in the street or garden is not going to get a satisfactory result in my book.

Good Luck !

Re: Service Costs

I didn't expect them to do anything much more than that. I'm just trying to highlight the fact that although £129 sounds like a good price for a main dealer service - in this case you aren't actually getting much for that money. I totally agree with you, I am happy with £129, and also surprised as ...

Re: Service Costs

£129 might be a good price but they don't do very much for that. Just and oil & filter change and top up your fluids I think. Paid around that for mine last year. I'd only been back in the house an hour after dropping it off and they rang to say it was ready  And they'd managed to wash it ...

Re: Service Costs

£129 does not sound bad at all for a first service. Mine is due in about 3,000 miles. Question. Is it a flat fee across the range? Would it cost the same £129 for a 122 TSI >> 210 TSI >> 140 TDI >> 170 TDI Cheers Gaz That may be the case as he gave me the quote before he new the exact car details, ...

Re: What is it with BMW drivers?

Dusted a Type R the other day. Not bad for a Standard Roc. He did say he had something done to his turbo too which was making me wonder if it was detrimental to his motor as it seemed to be. Type R doesn't have a turbo. Must say I don't really get anyone having a go, glad really cause I bought the ...

Re: To Mod, or not to Mod?

I will be leaving mine as standard, don't see the point in throwing money down the drain when you could spend it on beer.Seriously though, you will never get the money back and it may well devalue you car as modded cars are more difficult to sell. You also have the warranty, insurance issues etc. Wo...
