Where to sell a Roc; recommendations

Hi all. I was just wondering if anyone had (good) experiences in selling your Roc or any other car through a dealer, broker, online, etc. Any recommendations?

It's time to let go...

I'm afraid that time has come when you can no longer fit the whole family on a low standing sports coupé and have to give in to years of "it's cramped in here" and "uff, can't get in/out". It became 2 doors and 1 seat short since the prospect of adding a new (even if tiny) family...

Re: Criminal damage

 Same thing happened to me just two days ago. Some piece of crap decided to pull my driver side wing mirror the other way and broke it in the inside, cracking the plastic cover that joins it together. Fortunately the actual wing mirror is fine and the cabling too. It still fits in but it also c...

Re: Oh no!!! Windscreen chipped...

Of course, it might be different for you as the holes may be in your line of vision. If you do decide on a replacement, I've had a couple of replacement screens from Autoglass over the years and found them very helpful and efficient and my no claims has never been affected. If you're unsure about t...

Re: Public Parking

I have exactly that same issue - it make my misssus get very annoyed with me at times, as I will drive around a car-park for ages before deciding where to park. lol Same here. I then go around the car, fold the wing mirrors, before locking it up, walk for a bit and go back to double check.. lol It ...

Re: Standard Seat Lumber Support

Leather standards are great, although they are my first leather. It is a truly comfortable seat and car (at least on the front).
Sometimes I find myself using the lumbar support buttons to massage my back, hehe, until I realise I better stop it to avoid it go kaput.

Oh no!!! Windscreen chipped...

Hi guys. I knew the alloys are as soft as butter, so being careful there, but now my windscreen got hit by a very small stone from nowhere :fall: in 40mph traffic (damn roadworks!!!) and it made 4 micro holes on it. Fortunately, no crack. They are really small surface holes but for me and being a br...

Re: MFC Gear Advice

Economy sounds good, given the investment. I now find myself looking at the MPG more often. Cool gadget!
It's a manual btw, not DSG. It certainly makes me very conscious after considering myself a great manual driver. Puts my likes to shame, I guess.

MFC Gear Advice

Sorry if this has been discussed before but I did not find it anywhere. The MFComputer on my 122 manual Rocco keeps advising me to go up to 5th and sometimes 6th gear when I am on 40mph in a normal urban road... I feel it is telling me I should be entering a dragcar competition instead, really. Any ...

****Wrong Specced Car Built in Factory (June 3rd) - Currently driving a demo Scirocco while mine is built AGAIN!**** You again, Stuaz... geez. What have they done to your order? (I guess you may have commented on that already but I did not see it) I am starting to dread my wait to finish off with i...

Re: MY2011 changes

There are definitely differences between country editions of Sciroccos. I looked at the Spanish website, played around with configuration and their February catalogue to find quite a few basics no longer available in the UK such as the RCD310, old Multifunction SW and never seen alloys. Colours are ...

[quote="TonyR83"]These are the upgrade, portuguese language :) Spanish language, you mean. :wow: :magnify: Those new symbols in the Multifunction Steering Wheel are well cool, I should have waited for those... not! I must say the Daytona alloys look great judging by that picture. :...

Re: Changes to your order... I had a dream...

Hmm... interesting inputs... I think I can survive without. I may regret not having them factory fitted but I do not think I will be that needy for a retrofit either. I also hate the idea of radio-mute-buzz-mute-radio too. All in all, it seems a nice-to-have-but-it-will-not-get-you-killed sort of op...

Changes to your order... I had a dream...

Hi all. I was wondering if it is actually possible to add/remove options from an existing order, with a build date confirmed. I have been reading through the forum and other sources that the Rear Parking Sensors are a must for the majority of the owners. I am having nightmares now of my Rocco's rear...

Re: What's your Build Date? (Estimated or Confirmed)

Dealer told me week 14 with it being delivered between mid and end of June. However, for what I read here, people with similar built dates are getting estimated deliveries of May. I am confused... but hopeful :) Updated build week 20 now confirmed, sigh. Should still be here beginning of June. I'd ...

Re: What's your Build Date? (Estimated or Confirmed)

Hi Snowfox  dealers tend to be quite conservative with their build to delivery estimates as it does all depend on how your car hits the shipping schedule see here for updates from our very own shipping guru its also worth noting that it appears the Inchcape dealership network 'push' their car...
