Hatter i'm slightly confused, Gtechniq don't appear to have released a W1 product yet, its certainly not available on their website are you sure thats what you used? they have W2 which is cleaner but not protectant or I1 which is fabric protectant but at £15.26 for 500ml is alot more expensive than...

I have, but I used gtechniq W1 (available online). Much cheaper, is far more effective and lasts a lot longer. It also doesn't leave behind that chemically residue, and the smell goes quickly.

I'd believe the paint people - just a day doesn't sound at all long enough for the paint to properly harden. You might void your warranty with them, too.

Yeah, I guess your right. The tyres played a part of getting me out of the pickle, I would be silly to compromise that.
