My roc is currently getting a paint repair. There was a dent in the side door after somebody broke the side window and stole my RNS510...!
After the repair I am getting the whole car polished and sealed at Tidycar. The thing is that my local Tidycar only has time for me one day after the paint repair. The dealer/shop sais that the paint needs to harden at least two days before polishing - Tidycar says that it is no problem...
Who to believe?

I'd believe the paint people - just a day doesn't sound at all long enough for the paint to properly harden. You might void your warranty with them, too.

If they are going to machine polish it, leave it a while.

On a side note, a friend of mine also had his nav unit nicked last weekend. Bloke frome Autoglass said it was the third he'd been to in a week!
Be careful where you leave em dudes!
The cost of a replacement is way way more than the factory cost option!
