Unfortunately i don't have the luxury of a garage for security and was wodering if anyone could point me in the direction of a good wheel clamp.

halfords only seem to stock clamps that will fit wheels up to 17".

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I've got the day off tomorrow so i'll take it down to them. Shudn't really grumble too much car has been a dream so far.

Mine is faulty then. It opens with the car locked.

As everybody knows the fuel cap is released by touch. I have some concerns over this as basically anybody can access your fuel tank at anytime (vandalism, fuel theft)! I would prefer a more conventional means of opening eg by key or by release mechanism inside the car. Do VW not think this is an iss...

What is the ENCAP safety rating of our beloved rocs?

I was watching an old top gear re-run (on dave of course!) and they were going on about the encap star rating system. Anything below 3 stars is basically rubbish. Now i would suspect VW are quite keen on safety...but i may be wrong!

The blue interior on the second one looks totally gopping . . . .awful.

I have cleared the system out and then ran thru an entire tank of clear water. Problem solved....cheers.

All is well with my roc....sort of. When i turn on my front wipers and washer there are no problems at all. I know what you mean about paranoia regarding the roc. I too suffer a bit from that. I'm cured though now. You see my girlfriend lives on one of the roughest council estates in leeds! I haven't had so much as a sniff of hassle so far. In fact plenty of nice cars on that estate, porches, mercs, audi'...

Well in my most humble opinion if it were a choice of black or white i would go for white. Black makes the roc invisible. White is probably the best colour of all for the roc. . . .BUT..there are far too many on the roads in this colour. That's why i opted for the rising blue and i think it looks br...

Not for me thanks. Anybody who says they prefer a polo to a roc are deluding themselves.......it's a polo for pete's sake!

Today whilst driving i decided to have a krafty fag. Little did i know as i was sparking up that a snowplough was moving up fast in the outside lane! I had the window 3/4 down.....heavy snow last night in wets yorks. I got absolutely covered in snow slurry...the inside of the car was drenched in fil...

Today i had a porsche carrera in front of me at some lights...nice motor in silver.

As i pulled up behind it everyone at the bus stop oppo (and i mean everyone)...diverted their gaze from said motor to the gleaming rising blue roc pulling up behind it! That was a great feeling i can tell you.
