Re: 1.4 TSI 160 DSG Rising Blue

I just fitted the OEM sunblinds on my Roc. They are very helpful in the sunny Spain.

Re: The iPad

Hi, In case you are wondering, the iPad does not work with the MDI, at least not with the stock iPod/iPhone cable. Tried today and it won't even charge the device: http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/9280/10062010254.jpg http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/631/10062010255.jpg http://img717.imageshack.us...

A bit of credit to the author of the post in the portuguese forum would be very welcome. It was me, BTW.

Re: bluetooth

Does anyone know how I can solve this problem? The dealer has not been very helpful. The guy who installed it had not even read the manual. Quite easy to fix, if it is working with the RCD/RNS there is no reason why it should not be working with the MFA as well. Please provide your coding for modul...

Re: Phone Kit

It is dead simple, it just takes a couple more minutes to fit than the A-pillar microphone. The headlining does not have to be removed. Check this link to get an idea of the whole operation. Sorry, it is in Spanish but the pictures are pretty self-explanatory. http://files.me.com/delacruz.alex/abozh...

Re: Phone Kit

as Combusted says you have a few options, bit out on your pricing though Combusted the Fiscon is nearer £300 last time I looked & can you have the VW premium bluetooth retrofitted? I though not but happy to be educated. (not that RocHide wants it anyway) £352.5 as quoted on fiscon.co.uk, but fo...

Re: Phone Kit

Have a look here: http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=4924 You have mainly 3 options (prices in pounds): - Skoda Bluetooth, works with all bluetooth phones, can be used with the steering buttons, it is integrated with the MFA and RCD/RNS 510. Fully integrated, nothing vis...

Re: Skoda bluetooth kit - where to buy?

combusted, there were plenty of rocs with white mfd's with fully working fiscon at the xmas meet! if you choose to install it yourself it just needs some minor vagcom coding & the richter guys do free fitting sometimes too. S OK, just checked kufatec's webpage and they DO have a version which D...

Re: Skoda bluetooth kit - where to buy?

Forget Fiscon if you have a White MFA (dot matrix), because it just does not work (as far as I know). Skoda OEM BT is the way to go, totally OEM and no visible microphones anywhere. It is really easy to install, wiring is dead simple and car disassembly is minimum.

Re: Could NOT open / deactivate my Roc!!!

Same thing happened to me once a few week ago. It was impossible to open with the remote and therefore had to manually pop the plastic cover. Beware that unlocking manually does not disarm the alarm, and it will cry loud until you start the engine. After starting the car the remote started working a...

It is the microphone-shaped button on the left side cluster. If you have Bluetooth installed "voice dial" should come up instead of mute, and with Sat Nav maybe you launch voice control. Give it a try.

Re: Skoda Bluetooth - Who has this fitted?

Hi there, I have the 1z0 035 729c Skoda UHV (a.k.a. Basic Bluetooth) and it works great on my MY2010 Roc. It is fully integrated with the RCD510 and the MFA (white) and as a plus you have voice dial. The on-screen interface is identical to the Premium BT but you can not read SMSs on the MFA (not a d...

Re: 1.4 TSI 160 DSG Rising Blue

The DSG badge was standard in my car but not all DSG Sciroccos are fitted with it. It seems that some cars come with the badge lately, but not all. I believe you might find the reference in ETKA because it's original equipment, and it should cost no more than 5 o 6 pounds. Its a nice touch :) My spe...

1.4 TSI 160 DSG Rising Blue

Hi there, Two weeks ago my brand new Scirocco arrived and the impressions are great so far: excellent build quality, superb engine with very low consumption. DSG is so far the best robotized transmission I have ever tried. The car just and plainly rules. Here you are some pictures I took this weeken...
