1.4 TSI 160 DSG Rising Blue

Post by combusted »

Hi there,

Two weeks ago my brand new Scirocco arrived and the impressions are great so far: excellent build quality, superb engine with very low consumption. DSG is so far the best robotized transmission I have ever tried. The car just and plainly rules.
Here you are some pictures I took this weekend in Gandía (Valencia, Spain).

Hi combusted,

Nice looking Scirocco and good spec. 1.4TSi + DSG is great isn't it?

Like the little badge touch on the rear tailgate. Is that standard in Spain for the DSG or something you've added?

The DSG badge was standard in my car but not all DSG Sciroccos are fitted with it. It seems that some cars come with the badge lately, but not all. I believe you might find the reference in ETKA because it's original equipment, and it should cost no more than 5 o 6 pounds. Its a nice touch :)

My specs are average for Spain: everything except the Alarm, Tempomat and Park-Assist (Premium Pack) is standard, I just wish we had as many colors available as you do in other parts of Europe :( (no green viper, for example).

I just fitted the OEM sunblinds on my Roc. They are very helpful in the sunny Spain.
