having had my blades changed to the jetta wipers (part numbers are 1K8955425E & 1K8955426E) I am now smear free....for the moment

I had same smear problem, saw somewhere to get jetta wipers, got them for nothing from dealer under warranty....they look identical to me so don't know if they are jetta wipers or not.....part numbers are 1K8955425E & 1K8955426E if anyone can check..i couldn't find the part number online..work p...

any tips about preventing swirl marks in the first place....just got a black scirocco, washed once and it left bugs on bonnet...removed with a wee touch of polish and now the swirl marks appear...used a polish mitt to apply

I was quoted £58 per pair by vw dealer, today, ..put them on, not the best fitting mudflaps...shame they weren't put on at manufacture stage
