Hello,
You don't calibrate it. Check with vcds/odis/vcp/any tester for errors related to the engine.

Re: passat hubs and arms question
Hello. You can use your ball joints and track rods. You just need Passat bolt nuts for them, as they have different design. On note on the lower arms. With the Passat lower arm you will never achieve a perfect camber. For perfect adjustments, use the Passat spindle combined with Audi TT lower arms a...

Yees, you like to keep busy.
Good luck with the clutch, maybe you will also order the ballpin on which the fork rests.

Re: car stuck at 3k revs?
It's a known 1.4 tsi problem, nothing so dramatic as your garage suggests. Either get it to another place, as Cuprabob said, or you can read this: https://www.volkswagenforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=31823" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Cheers! been to Volks throttle bottle ...

Re: Advice on 2011 1.4 TSI 160ps engine.
Hello. It all depends on the type of engine. Early type CAVD are prone to piston failure(among other parts). Keep it on a short leash and have it checked in case of missfires(compression test is the best in my opinion). The rest is pure luck. It can go for 100k km, or 50k km, or less. For other ques...

Re: Hungarian revo Stage 1 Scirocco
So far so good. About your stage 2... I know you like Revo, but have you ever considered the real masters, aka Revlimit or TMG? After my Revo stage 1, BBM Motorsport stage 2 and now Revlimit stage 2, I can say I will never ever try off the shelf remaps(as in Revo).

Re: Nural Pistons
If you buy them in standard size, then you don't need other parts besides the regular(full gasket set - no exception; bolts etc)

Re: Nural Pistons
Yes, I am 100% sure, as my info was confirmed by a Kolbenschmidt rep. Parts cross reference generally works for the OE codes, not aftermarket. If you want to check aftermarket parts, always use the manufacturer catalogue, or contact them directly. https://onlineshop.ms-motorservice.com/msi/MSICD?pag...

Re: Nural Pistons
Hello hello. I would generally say yes to Nural pistons(they are a part of Federal Mogul group so no problem here), but for this particular engine, I would stay on the very safe side. First of first, there are no CTHD pistons. After 2012, all 1.4 TSI engines have the new and improved pistons. There ...

Re: Hungarian revo Stage 1 Scirocco
Looks sweet! I'm so curios about the TMG turbo intake, because it's also on my wishlist.
One question... Why do you want to use a twin intercooler setup, rather than the S3 intercooler/uprated intercooler? So much more space for the turbo to fill with the twin intercooler.

nice, putting in an LSD! where is your garage then? is it the batcave? whats with that weird narrow rear tyre? You can call it the Batcave, but it's not located in the U.K. I live and work in Bucharest, Romania. The weird narrow tyre is just part of the winter setup that I have... Steel 16" in...

Re: Buzzing sound from turbo(?)
I don't know what to say about the wastegate rod... Please check your turbocharger. Remove the intake hose and visually inspect the blade. If everything seems in place, try to check the rotor play(left, right, in, out). After everything checks out, you can look at the wastegate actuator. Maybe you'r...
