The dash lit up with sidelights on with my Golf Mk5 , my mates Audi does too , just seems a bit odd as even during the day sometimes if it's a bit dull It's very dark on the speedo . It's the First time on any car I've had to put full headlights on just to light the speedo up ! Might look into this ...

It's hardly noticeable on my car when the side lights are on , would prefer it to be as bright as when I have the headlights on as it is a dark centre speedo etc... they won't adjust any brighter in side light mode . What I'm trying to say is in normal daytime conditions I would prefer my side light...

Hi guys is it possible to code my dash and instrument lights to come on when only side lights are selected ? I find the lights are mostly on main beam with dull days when it's in auto mode , sometimes I don't need the full beam on but would like the dash lights on with the sidelights. Cheers , Andy

I made a tool out of 2"X1" batten wood about 100mm long and cut a deep slot in the end , makes life so much easier
