A faulty battery would not cause those symptoms. The battery in the keyfob is only used for locking / unlocking function. This is reinforced with the issue also happening with the spare keyfob. The immobiliser RFID tag within the keyfob is energised by a coil in the ignition switch when it is read....

Panic over it was a faulty battery in the keyfob.

Well just been out to the Scirocco 1.4tsi and tried to start it. It starts then cuts out within 2 seconds, each and every time i try to start it. I did replace the battery in the remote control the other day, not sure if this is the problem. When i turn the key in the ignition i have no dash lights ...

I think you have misread me somehow.
My 1.4 tsi 160bhp has never had a misfire problem ( well not yet ).

The plugs have been changed, August last year.
I only run shell petrol, the expensive one not sure what its called.
I have not had any problems yet, but i have only covered 1000 miles or so.
What are the symptoms of your Scirocco ?

I have a 2009 1.4 Tsi Manual gearbox.
Is there anything i can look at in Vagcom to see if i have any upgraded parts regarding changes that helps misfire problems ?

I have no problems,so will leave them as they are.

Why do you want to disable the brake boost? Then you have to perform very much force to get a good braking. I like the keen braking and put it to strong, so it reacts very quick and i don't have to push in the pedal so far. But it's personal taste how you want to set it up. I don't have the securit...
