OBDEleven on way .. help please
Ok i have a OBDEleven on its way to me.
I want to disable the DRLs and don't have a clue how to do it.
This is the plan.
1. Disable the DRLs.
2. When the LIGHT SWITCH is in the 0 position all lights OFF.
3. Have Auto Lights as they are meant to be, AUTO SWITCH ON and lights only come on when its dark.
4. When the LIGHT SWITCH is in the side light position ... rear, front lights as side lights as they are now with also the small lights it the front bumper on ( like when DRLs are on ).
Hope the above makes sense .
Thanks for any replies.

Re: OBDEleven on way .. help please
You can also disable drl with lightswitch in off position.
Only works in auto position then but you want to disable full functioning?

I think most of the above listed are self - explanatory and some of the items can already be changed if you have highline MFD.
Pointer Test - Needle Sweep
Rain Close - Close windows and Sunroof if rain sensor detects rain.
Tear Wipe - After using washers a delayed final wipe to clear screen
Sync Mirrors - When you adjust driver's mirror passenger mirror automatically compensates.
Emergency Brake / Flashing Lights - During emergency stop brake lights and hazards flash
XDS - electronic different control and setting.

Re: OBDEleven on way .. help please
I tried the brakelight flashing a time ago but it doesnt work on my MY10, only the hazardlight flashing works. Im not sure that the pointertest byte 1 bit 0 coding is correct i thought it was an adaptation channel indicator celibration or staging.Cuprabob wrote:I think most of the above listed are self - explanatory and some of the items can already be changed if you have highline MFD.

Isn't it OBDII? OBD2, ie a Roman 2 rather than Eleven? Or is OBDEleven a trade name?

Re: OBDEleven on way .. help please
Right i sussed it out.
For anyone who wants to use a OBDEleven gadget here is the info for DLR Disable
I found out how to disable DLR Lights in my 2009 Scirocco.
central electrics
long coding
byte 0
bit 03 untick
What this does is,
light switch position
0 ... all lights off
auto .... lights as they should be .. off in the day .. active when dark.
side light ... rears on ..front only lights under bumper on .. no headlights on at all.
Hope this helps someone.
Will post more codes for OBDEleven when i suss any out.

Re: OBDEleven on way .. help please
Further to this thread...
My brakes are very keen and i have done Brake Assist from normal to weak.
I have also seen that brake boost is enabled i have tried to disable this but need a access code .. does anyone know the access code for my 2009 Scirocco ?
Or a way to find it ?
Thanks.
Edit,
I have just been out in the car.. the brakes are much better with weak position on brake assist setting.
So anyone who thinks there brakes are to keen try the above.
I still need access code help though.

Re: OBDEleven on way .. help please
Why do you want to disable the brake boost? Then you have to perform very much force to get a good braking.
I like the keen braking and put it to strong, so it reacts very quick and i don't have to push in the pedal so far.
But it's personal taste how you want to set it up. I don't have the security acces code, searched for them on the internet but haven't found anything yet.
