Squeek on acceleration - low RPM

Hi everyone, Recently my Roc has developed an issue whereas the front end is squeeking on acceleration, does it at low RPM in most gears but it doesn't continue through the rev range. Browsed everywhere but can't find anything. Removed my twintake to see if that was causing the rubbing noise and it ...

Re: Alaina's Rising Blue 2.0 TSI

Nice car as mentioned before! - I've got gloss black wheels to go with the blue, you tempted for black mirror caps? Yeah I am tempted - I saw a set of gloss black mirrors on eBay and nearly brought them so it could be a simple swap and change them back to blue if needed. Take the plunge! Mind you b...

Exactly what JoJoReynolds said, it differs slightly by a few mm as they all settle different but mine didn't drop too much.. I actually want it lower but my driveway can accommodate it lol :)

But as cuprabob said, it's not good to rev a engine like that.

Last weekend my friend Mike popped over and we had a detailing session... hard labor by me he just stood and looked! This is the individual responsible for me getting the Scirocco so I owed him a favour as he drove to Amsterdam and back in his! http://i.imgur.com/cJRzvFW.jpg http://i.imgur.com/3DdqX...

Re: Sonic ☆

Detailing photo before JoJoReynolds got rid of his diesel and got an R.. PhilJay92 compounded the side of my car as a caravan driver forced me into a huge hedge on a country road, horrible lines in the paintwork afterwards but it's all spot on now!

Re: Sonic ☆

Couple of weeks ago I installed a new diffuser to the rear, not to everyone's taste but it really does make the rear look meaner! Toying with the idea for a cup spoiler but I'm waiting to see one in the flesh on a rising blue Scirocco..

Re: Sonic ☆

Loving the TwinTake, it's not too noisy and it acceleration seems more responsive, much better than the previous Pipercross panel filter I had fitted. I do have plans to get a TTS engine cover and gas struts but I'm still toying with the idea.. On another note I installed some gloss black badges to ...

Re: Sonic ☆

Next step was an induction kit, I'd been contemplating between a closed system or open cone and decided to go for the Forge TwinTake, installation was relatively easy and it sits in the engine bay nicely!
