How can I get the R to rev over 4000rpm at standstill? I have tried turning the esp of but still will not go over 4000.
Thanks

It's not good to rev an engine with no load, hence why the ECU is preventing it.

Put in 1st gear and depress clutch.
But as cuprabob said, it's not good to rev a engine like that.
