Hi Guys, I’m currently using VW Citygate for my repairs and services and I’m extremely unhappy with them and so I’m looking to move on to find a better service provider. I have a 2009 2.0 TSI with 60k on the clock and the vehicle has just received a long life service this month. The problem is that ...

The police told me that once stolen and recovered, it's very unlikely they will come near the vehicle again!
Do you guys agree?

Scirocco stolen - black 2009 Plate.
Hi Guys,
Just found out my car has been stolen this morning.
I've contacted insurance and police.
I live in South East London.
Does anyone know what the chances are of it being recovered or found?
Would be sad to leave you guys as it's unlikely I will be replacing the stolen vehicle.

Re: £50 TO FIT A BULB FOR FOG LIGHT? PLEASE ADVISE
I also forgot to mention the garage said a new replacement fog light unit will cost about £120
which I'm not really in the mood for at the moment.

Re: £50 TO FIT A BULB FOR FOG LIGHT? PLEASE ADVISE
Hi Guys - update! I just wanted to let you know it was fixed yesterday for only £16, however , the garage said there is condensation and water in the unit and so it may not be long before the bulb will blow again. They said they drained as much of the water as they can but no guarantee as to how lon...

£50 TO FIT A BULB FOR FOG LIGHT? PLEASE ADVISE
Hi Guys,
I received a notification on the dashboard that the BULB for the FRONT FOG LIGHT is gone.
VW says it will cost £20 for the bulb and £30 to fit totalling £50
Is this reasonable as I never thought it could cost £30 labour to fit a bulb!!!
Please guys can you advise.
Thanks
Jayroc.

Re: Intake Manifold Problem
Jtbrown,
I've got the same error code and problem on mine for a few months now but it does not affect performance or cause any drivability issue at the moment so I'm just going to ignore it unless there is a risk of further damage to something else. Mileage is 40k. What's your mileage ?

Turbo actuator leaking oil slightly
Hi Guys,
I've just been told my TURBO ACTUATOR is leaking oil slightly.
Can the seal be replaced or will I have to replace the whole system.
Any idea how much this could cost?
You advice is most appreciated!
Thanks
Jayroc

The car broke down in Germany and there guys tried to translate as much as they could. They speak limited English but as you said I've now been able to find more details on google. I just really wanted to know if other guys here have had a similar experience as I'm starting to suspect this component...
