I hear what your saying 100%, but it wouldn't be dangerous and is more than capable to tow? I've seen smaller less adequate cars towing?

But surely joe public wouldn't know this so if was to go to a respectable company to fit one and they did then "if" that were to happen then they would be liable? Summers coming, I need to tow a jet ski!! I didn't even think to look into that when I bought the car, didn't cross my mind onc...

Surely it can be done??

I'm looking to get a tow bar fitted to my R but I don't want it on there full time as it looks horrid!!

Has anyone ever had a detachable bar fitted to theirs and if so how much please?

Hey guys, got in the car this AM and I've noticed something has changed? Mileage display on the bottom left dissapears when over 5mph and and MPH display comes up and a speedo symbol? Usually the mileage is always displayed? How do I change it back does anyone know?

Hello bud, I hate to say but they are right, just checked mine for you and the drivers side is on the right as you look at it from stood outside and the passenger is also on the right ( Next to pillar ) as you look at it from outside! I had to have a look myself out of curiosity! :-)

Drilled em out!! No way!! get some sticky velcro, like the unibond stuff, make a lip on the velcro, stick it on the centre cap and use a pair of pliers to pull them out, easy! To late now I know but a tip for the future mate! Please do let me know, yes.

I'm after changing the standard VW Centre caps for some "R" ones, everywhere I look it seems I can only find 65mm ones, my rims are 19" and I'm sure they are 70mm? has anyone else changed theirs?

Cheers mate, I may well do that, good to compare, I called Regal, they said they do a Revo stage 1 for £499 + VAT or their own software for £399 Inc Vat, both with the same gain, takes it to 310bhp, sounds like a no brainer money wise but that much difference in price rings bells surely?!?!
