Re: Bloody hard water leaving water marks on the paint!

Washing out of direct sunlight is the way forward - so time of day plays a big part as does the geography of your wash bay. Dry the car pretty much immediately with towels or blow dry with a blower and use Koch Chemie FSE if you live in a particularly hard Water area - I do and have suffered the sam...

Re: Alloy wheel sealant?

Horses for courses - I use FinishKare 1000p High Temp sealant on Walter - goes on easy and keeps the dust off the surface making it wipe cleanable

Use as little as possible, just a wipe with a MF or applicator pad - simples

Cheap too so win win

Use that on the works hilux - got to say that it's cheap & cheerful & does exactly what it says on the tin

Given time & sunshine though I'd rather use MS

Re: How to clean sticky sweet residue from glovebox

Morning,
Try a general APC like g101 at appropriate dilution ratio (think mine is 11:1) and a soft bristle brush after scooping whatever residue is left with a paper towel
Finish with some plastic cleaner (dressle, etc ) should be good as new

Re: Scratch obsession

Hiya The basic rule of thumb is to touch the paint as little as possible during the clean. For the actual wash get a microfibre madness incridimitt/ incredisponge - sponges are likely the cause of your problem The theory (solid) is that the uniform density of the sponge along with its flat surface c...

Hi Rob I'm a big fan of Dean Bowles out at Wingham on the outskirts of Canterbury - he's just done a fantastic job on Walters rear bumper tidying up some previous mild damage & now looks beautiful ! He's on the staple road industrial est but keeps some odd hours so it's best to ring him on 07879...
