Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
Nice! Wouldn't mind having this little mod. At the minute I have turn the switch located on the inside of the drivers door to fold them in and out. How did you do this mod? Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk I went to someone who has vag can pro software, hè did a kind of software update of the w...

Dectane are not helpful at all. the website is asking to send it back to fix but shipping is £50 and they can't guarantee a fix, so a £100 cost.

I have similar work needing to my car, although the damage is more on the side skirt.
I had quotes from £180-£350. Just get a few quotes and go from there, they take no more than 5 minutes.

I'm pretty sure Ford have a patent on that design. So as above, Fords only.

Re: Dash camera
I used the bluetooth guide too for my Mobius. The trim/roof lining area was tough. The closer I got to the rear view mirror the less give I had, so I didn't risk pulling it down. Try as much as you can and feed the wire on the edge of it. It will stay even if it's not fully hidden. TBH if you do tha...

Re: Remote Start
If you can find someone who can fit this please let me know! My dad used to have a Viper remote starter when we used to live in Canada but unfortunately it seems as no one knows what it is over here. I think getting one won't be a problem but someone to fit it may be tricky. On our viper, this was a...

Re: Dash camera
I also did the same as RocPaperScissors on how I installed my Mobius. The roof lining and the glass wasn't that bad you just have to be very careful. However I wanted the camera to also record while I was away from the car and it was off. So I've got an external battery which is what it is connected...

In regards to your pen damaging the heater blower motor, was this done through the glove box? I had the same issue with mine. If your car has climate control then I can give you a link for a replacement heater motor (very easy to replace yourself, 2 minute job). The eBay link also saved me about £120!

Re: Cigarette lighter power after ignition off
I've got a dash cam and I wanted it to stay on while I was away from the car. I've just hooked it up to an external battery pack which is then connected in to the lighter socket, so it's constantly charging while i'm driving. It lasts about 4-5 hours but I think I need to invest in a bigger battery ...

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
I LOVE cleaning my car mate! With it being white I don't get as much satisfaction as I have done with previous cars which have always been a darker colour. But then again, I've never done it "properly" as there seems to be so many different methods and stages etc. I'll search his posts and...

First MOT done...but it needed a new tyre. Tax disc removed. 30,000 mile service done.
Rear Cup holder installed (thanks to Lee's how to guide).
Next is a deep clean but I'm still reading up on everyone's cleaning techniques to get the best method!

Welcome!
Looking good so far! I've been toying with those dectanes too mate, but they aren't for RHD cars unfortunately! They look amazing though.
Can I ask where you got you from 3/4 plate from? Looks nice and tidy.
