Re: Fuel/Distance Remaining, how low can it go?

I've had 40+ miles from a zero reading on my TDI and filled it up to just over 56L.

Re: External Hard drive

Niggle SOLVED!!! The cars media unit will not play an external drive that has been formatted in exFAT or NTFS. It works fine if I format it to the old FAT32 file system which is a pain if you have a storage device larger than 32gb and operate Windows 7. Anyhow sorted!!!

External Hard drive

Hi Guys, My original hard drive has packed up so I thought while I'm replacing it I'd take the oppertunity to sort out a little niggle. Previously when ever I turn the car off the hard drive/media returns to the start of the libary i.e. A. Is it possible to get the car or hard drive to remember wher...

Re: Which Tyres are the best?

So very quick to jump to the assumption. I did a fair bit of research and found that these tyres are made by Continental and the reviews were very good. My experience is that they are quieter and provide far superior handling in both wet and dry compared to the Dunlop Sports. Check out the reviews.....

Amber engine light....140TDI??

Coming back from Wensleydale on Tuesday and on came the engine management light. No apparent problem with performance, so when I got back to Nottingham I gave VW Nott's a call who said it isn't a problem unless it goes from amber to red. I was advised the technician will call me back........ no call...

Re: Saris Bones Bike Rack

I have a Saris Bones rack and it fits a treat. But note don't try and be clever and strap it to the exhaust mount like I did....... the nylon straps melt lol :)

Re: Which types of media do you use in car?

Had my ipod nano for a while but it was doing my nut taking it in and out so now I've got a 60gb 2.5" external hardrive rigged up to the USB which is in a stylish brushed metal case, although you didn't see it as it fits like a glove into one of the armrest storage holes.
