Coming back from Wensleydale on Tuesday and on came the engine management light. No apparent problem with performance, so when I got back to Nottingham I gave VW Nott's a call who said it isn't a problem unless it goes from amber to red. I was advised the technician will call me back........ no call back so I rang again yesterday, still not available but I got assurances that he will ring. Guess what.................no call!! Note to other owners avoid VW West Bridgeford!
Anyway I've notice the engine isn't running very smooth at idle, sort of miss fires every now and then. Booked in at Derby tomorrow morning so we'll see what they say when it's plugged in.
Has anyone else experienced the amber light or the symptoms? 140TDI

Just a simple replacement pressure switch and thermal reset. Sounds simple eh. All sorted!
