PCV Scirocco R
Hello to you all. I have an issue with my revs jumping around just as it gets to idle speed. Also it hangs up just under 2k for a very short time, it doesn't do this all the time. Once at idle the revs are fine. I'v tried the removal of the dip stick trick, all seems well with that test. I have also...

Re: Poor idle return speed
Just an update, I had a look this Saturday at the ICV and it's clean as a whistle. Admittedly I didn't get it completely off as it was an absolute nightmare of a job, think I would need 54 joints in each finger! I removed the intake pipe and found a small amount of oil in the bottom of the pipe. I'm...

Poor idle return speed
Hello to you all, I have a problem with my car returning to idle speed and I will do my best to explain the fault. Car details, 13 plate Scirocco R, manual, 10600 miles on the clock, have just started using good fuel not the supermarket fuel, K04 engine. Just had a revo map stage 1. Fault, Once warm...

Re: Revo remap
Hi mate I know tc garage and sorry I didn't see this before as only recently joined this forum. Them boys are alright. Do you have a stick or dsg? Hi ya, I have a manual box, I do need a sps and TC have ordered me one. I tried the rev thing again and it seems like some sort of flutter in the exhaus...

Re: Revo remap
Stage 1 is a standard software map. It's not customised for your car, or any other mods you have made, and they could apply it to a car in your local tesco car park if they so desired. No rolling road required. Tesco Value Remap :) Well my Tesco remap went well! Joking aside, the guys at TC Garage ...

Re: Revo remap
just a quick question, I'm thinking of getting a Rocco R and possibly getting it remaped as well. How much BHP would a stage 1 add? How much does it cost? How much does it a stage 1 increase the likelihood of something breaking, and roughly how much quicker would you say it'll be doing 0-60? Sorry ...

Re: ROC r mpg
I'm getting 35mpg on a 8 mile trip to work, which I think is good for the R. Mind, I'm driving like an old man to get this. Normal driving it's more like 31 - 32 mpg on longer trips. Most I've had is 41 mpg sitting at about 60mph, very boring. I've had it in the mid teens coming home from work, on a...

Re: Body Work Repair for my R
Did you find anywhere, if not see below, I can recommend DP accident and repair, these are based in Gillingham. I know its a bit far from you but this guy done a really good job on my car a few years back. If you know you're going to get a good job done, a long trip to the garage is insignificant. G...

Revo remap
Hi all, at last I've finally arranged to have a Revo stage 1 and Revo panel filter fitted to my car. It's booked in Monday, can't wait. I'm taking it to TC Garage, Gatwick, I've just called them to book and forgot to ask if they have a rolling road, does anyone know if they do? Is it necessary to us...

Re: Standard Exhaust, "Flapper Mod"
Just take a look at the back box, find the pipe connected to exhaust valve, remove the pipe and blank the end. Job donejackssc wrote:Where can one find the details for this flapper mod?

Re: Standard Exhaust, "Flapper Mod"
So I think I'm going to get a re map, either Revo or APR. So my question is this, what cat back exhaust should I get? I'm thinking Milltek but can't make my mind up either resonated or non resonated? Has anyone on here had either fitted to there Scirocco R and what do you think? From what I've found...
