Guess my next question is its a 2013 sub 10k on the clock with that spec in a 170 TDI form for £21000 this sound about right for that price

Been doing some research into a stage 1 map on a GT 170 TDI, read some were that you can have trouble with the clutch slipping due to increased torque & BHP but only on manuals? How true is this if so does that mean your better with DSG? If so why does it have problems on manuals but not DSG?

Not sure if this has been covered lately as cant find any threads but what differences are there between the 2? Looking at buy a rocco soon but trying to decide which model. Does the R-Line have any exterior differences to a GT 170? If so what exactly or does any one have any pictures to compare?

I was looking in to that but if I'm going down the remap route I'd rather map a 170 and have 200+ to play with. There about its just waiting for the right one that's frustrating

I'd happily go up a bit more to around 14 seen a few nice ones but both have had the DSG box and are private, I'm just a bit nervous buying from a private seller with out warranty unless its the manual

On the hunt for either a candy white or black gt tdi 170 with black leather, bar this I'm not overly fussed, the newer steering wheel would be nice. Got around £13k give or take if the right one came up. Just can't find one looking on autotrader and pistonheads daily any were else?? Itching for one ...

Thanks some useful info I'm there, how come Bluetooth won't work? No way round this? I'd prefer to find a example that already has the sat nav build in, if not then I'm got a portable one not a big problem, would be a nice feature though

Having just test drove one it had a button next to the traction control that I assume was for the suspension as it had comfort / sport mode is this standard or was it an extra? It was a gt 170 with DSG I drove

Found 2 one manual and one auto, manaul is from a garage and auto is a private sale, are the autos well made and reliable as in safe enough to buy private ...

Ah excellent thank you clears that up, next one is the heater pannels keep seeing the 2 different ones you can see in the pictures what's the difference and what ones is the upgrade? Thanks again guys a real big help!

Ok quick google answered my 2 question around the steering wheel and display. I've out 2 pictures up is the top one the new one? 2010MY? Sorry to be silly but when was this may? And what reg 10 or 60? Any pictures any were of the 2 together so you can see the differences? Also again apologies whats the DIS? MFSW? Any difference to the outside or purely internal upgrades?
