Car Spec easy way to tell? / Quick Price Check

Post by SXI-Matt »

Looking to buy an R Line Scirocco but unsure what extras it has over standard is there a way you can type in the reg or some thing and it'll tell you. From what I can tell it has auto lights and wipers, dimming rear view mirror, head light washers, heated leather seats, upgraded speakers, cruise control, climate control, spare wheel and pressure monitoring. Any one shed any light on what is standard and what has been spec'd as an extra?

The way I find out is just go to an insurance comparison site and type in the reg. it tells you the year and model e.g. Gt , r line etc. all of that is standerd on gt apart from headlight washers, cruise control, upgraded speakers. What year is it? If its late 2012 then heated seats is standerd with leather.
I believe headlight washers is part of winter pack?
