Re: Are my headlights okay?

Thanks @Data Ghost.

Can you let us know where you got the tool to adjust the headlights, and an even cheekier request of putting some pictures up of where I should be looking? :D

I've heard the headlights are often knocked out of alignment through everyday use, through speedbumps, potholes, etc.

Re: Are my headlights okay?

Hi guys! Sorry to open up this discussion again, but mine are also as described by the OP. The drivers side headlight appears to point slightly higher than the passengers side, and this has been mentioned by friends in the car in front, and also passengers in my car looking at the reflection of the ...

Passenger window problems

Hi All, So I noticed that my windows appear to be haunted! The main issue is that my passenger side window sometimes drops itself automatically when I want it to go back up. The scenarios are: 1. If the passenger window has been over halfway down, when I click it back up it opens itself. Then when I...

Re: Smashed wing mirror :(

Do it yourself mate. Get the part from vw for £26. It's a 10-15 min job max and all you need is a torx (t10 size head). Vw charge near enough £60 for the part and labour! Also, I'm by no means good with cars or parts!

Re: JAM17's Black TDI 140 Rocky Build (updated pics 24/03)

Got round to fitting the pedals yesterday. I'm by no means good with fitting stuff but this was a relatively easy job, took about 15 mins. Don't need to buy the removal tool everyone seems to use, just require 2 flat head screwdrivers. Also don't need a wrench or even the torx screwdriver, if you've...

How did you remove the DRL/indicator unit to remove the orange part?

Thanks, and great looking car!

Re: JAM17's black TDI 140 rocky build thread

Where did you get the foot pedals from? Got them from an eBay seller for £60 shipped. Had to order a torx screwdriver as I thought the car came with one in with the spare wheel set. Waiting for this before I can attempt to fit them! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130740967913?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&am...

JAM17's Black TDI 140 Rocky Build (updated pics 24/03)

Hi all, new to the forum as I just bought my first Scirocco. Never thought I'd buy one really, not that I didn't like them, just I never imagined myself in one! To cut a long story short, my history of cars since the age of 17 has been, Ford ka 1.3 (nippy!), VW Polo 1.2 (also nippy!), Honda Civic Ty...
