What are the chances of a retrofit of the front xenons on our model?

My car is factory fitted with the cruise control so I don't think that could be my issue. It's due a service so I might say it to them!

Hi guys, bit of a problem here. Recently when I start my car the rear washer comes on constantly for about 5 seconds, then if I go to use it on the front or back nothing happens. I can still operate the front wipers but not the rear.

Has anyone ever experienced something like this before?

Anyone ever retrofit one of these? Much work involved? I've seen a few on ebay cheap enough so would like to get it fitted if possible. I already have the factory parking sensors and I retrofitted a rns 510 unit! Any help would be much appreciated, Niall

I just deleted all the paired devices (mine and my 2 brothers phones) and paired mine back up. Seems to be working fine now. My car was registered in June 2011 so it's now out of warranty unfortunately! Thanks for the help. Hopefully this will be a long term solution and not just a quick fix!!

Quite annoying - so handy playing it through the phone. Along with using toodles maps etc. If I don't find a solution here ill just say it to the lads in the dealership when I'm in next I guess!

Yea that seems to be the exact same thing. It's like as if I go too far out of the Bluetooth range!

Am I right in saying that the RNS510 should be able to come up through the MFD unit? Ie tell me what road I'm on and the direction I'm travelling in?? Thanks

Press the map button twice to display the split screen (if it's not already shown), then in the drop down list on the split screen, select GPS Viewer. That will tell you how many satellites the unit is currenty tracking. Thanks man. 1/7 satellites being received, there's my problem! Thanks everyone

To be honest I just put the aerial in behind the unit somewhere.. wasn't too sure where to put it and it worked grand when I installed it
