Re: Confusing Oil Check ?
Thanks Cuprabob, thats what i assumed. I suppose the manual does say that but with a slightly differently shaped ridge ! It's amazing how the manual says how dangerous it is to overfill but then makes it not so obvious where the max line is ? Another amazing fact is how certain people on forums, esp...

Confusing Oil Check ?
Hi, With the concern of overfilling by a few mm all too prevaillant and the owner's manual showing a different dipstick to the one on my new Scirocco gt, please excuse me for the following question ! Is the MAX mark at the top of the ridge, indicated in the photo, or should there be a clearly marked...

Re: Facelifted Scirocco Official Pictures And Details
Just have a quick question about ordering a new Scirocco GT 2.0 tsi. Can i still order the current model with the updated spec from 2012: The leather seats, rns315 with nav, bluetooth and DAB, rear parking sensors and electric lumbar in front ? I'm thinking of ordering in a couple of days. Thanks in...

Re: SatNav retrofit costs
Hi,
I know i'm stating the obvious but have you considered the Garmin unit on sale at Halfords for £ 80. With 3D maps, photo quality, bluetooth and free updates. I know you probably want the luxury of a built-in system but could have better quality sat nav and save over £ 2700 !

Re: Wheel noise on full lock
Thanks RW1 for reply. So, technically, theres nothing wrong then ? Always done it in wet....nothing in dry ! Ive heard of a lot of occurences of this noise. Could it be due to different rubber cv gloves on gt models ? Strange ! Thank u again RW1.

Re: Wheel noise on full lock
Hi to all on this excellent forum. Ive just registered with the forum and enjoyed reading all the usefull posts, especially the wastegate rattle, which i had done. Ive always had the rubbing sound on full lock but strictly ONLY IN WET CONDITIONS. Ive read mixed reasons for this, namely tyres on wet ...
