Audi Forum??

Not exaclty in the right place I guess but I'm getting rid of the lovely Roc to go to an A4 as a company car.

Does anyone know of a decent Audi forum as I've drawn a bit of a blank.

THanks guys and sorry to use the A word!

Cheers

Re: Wiper Blades (sorry)

I get around a 75mm wide smear right in my eyeline on the drivers side, piss poor if you ask me.

It wipes fine on the upstroak but smears like mad on the downstroke.

Re: 6 Speed DSG Vs 7 Speed DSG

My 6 speed DSG can make a few clunks, only noticeable when the windows are down mind you.

That said, the lovely "PARP" from 1st to 2nd when driving in "D" is something I love!!

Temperature and speed sensor fitted, oh and cruise control.

We shall see if it's fixed the issue. I've got a 450 mile round trip (ouch on fuel) planned for Thursday, so watch this space.

Retro Fit Cruise Control

I have had a quote of £205 for the CC to be fitted to my Roc, seems like a good price to me and cheaper than factory fitting the option!!

MIne is having it done this week once the DSG box is sorted!

Re: problem with dsg

I had the dreaded "Six Gear Shuffle" last night. Going along the A14 doing 75, popped it into 5th to get past someone and hey presto, no power, car revs to 4k on its own, all the gear lights flash, foot pedal light flashes. It then slips into gear and then 10 seconds later, does it again!!...

0 - 60 mph times

I know it's not massively important but I wondered if any of you guys have checked your 0-60 time?

I would be interested to see the post Bluefin times for a 2.0 TSi

I have tried it myself and got a 6.41 but dropped a goolie with a big amount of wheelspin. (standard 2.0 TSi)

Cheers

Well I tried mine the other night, woked like a dream although I ballsed up the amount of acceleration and got too much spin!

I still managed 6.41 to 60mph though. :D

Gear change "parp"

I have a DSG and when it's in D mode (changes early) and you get heavy with the right foot, it makes a lovely "parp" sound.

I just wondered what casued it??

And expect a lot of wheel spin.

I had a 170ps Audi A4 and it was a pig to get the power down from a stand still.
